1 Preparation
- Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water.
- Gather your supplies: prescribed semaglutide vial, insulin syringe, alcohol wipes, and sharps container.
- Allow the vial to reach room temperature if refrigerated (approximately 15–30 minutes).
- Inspect the vial — the solution should be clear and colorless. Do not use if cloudy, discolored, or contains particles.
- Clean the vial's rubber stopper with an alcohol wipe. Allow to dry completely.
2 Drawing Your Dose
- Using your insulin syringe, draw back air equal to your prescribed dose volume.
- Insert the needle into the vial stopper and push the air in to equalize pressure.
- Invert the vial and slowly draw out your prescribed dose as directed by your provider.
- Tap the syringe gently to move any air bubbles to the top, then push them out.
- Confirm the correct volume in the syringe before removing from the vial.
3 Injection
- Choose an injection site: lower abdomen (at least 2 inches from navel), upper outer thigh, or back of upper arm.
- Clean the injection site with an alcohol wipe and let it dry completely.
- Pinch a fold of skin at the cleaned site.
- Insert the needle at a 45–90° angle into the subcutaneous tissue.
- Inject slowly and steadily — do not rush.
- Remove the needle smoothly, apply light pressure with a clean cotton ball or gauze. Do not rub.
- Dispose of the syringe immediately in your sharps container. Never recap or reuse needles.
4 Storage & Tips
- Store your vial in the refrigerator (36–46°F / 2–8°C). Do not freeze.
- Once in use, the vial may be kept at room temperature (up to 77°F / 25°C) for a limited time as directed.
- Rotate injection sites each week to prevent tissue irritation.
- Inject on the same day each week. If you miss a dose, contact your provider for guidance.
- Stay well-hydrated and eat slowly as your appetite changes.
- Nausea is common when starting or increasing your dose — it typically subsides within a few days.

- Verify your dose volume before withdrawing the needle from the vial.
3 Injection
- Select your injection site: abdomen (2+ inches from the navel), front of thigh, or upper arm.
- Clean the site with an alcohol wipe and allow to dry.
- Pinch the skin and insert the needle at a 45–90° angle.
- Inject slowly and steadily into the subcutaneous tissue.
- Withdraw the needle and apply gentle pressure. Do not rub the site.
- Dispose of the syringe in a sharps container immediately.
4 Storage & Tips
- Refrigerate your vial at 36–46°F (2–8°C). Do not freeze.
- Rotate your injection site weekly to reduce skin irritation.

- Gastrointestinal side effects (nausea, decreased appetite) are common early on and usually improve with time.

- Gather supplies: BPC-157 vial (lyophilized powder), bacteriostatic water, reconstitution syringe, insulin syringe, and alcohol wipes.
- Clean the rubber stoppers on both the peptide vial and bacteriostatic water vial with alcohol wipes.
- Draw the amount of bacteriostatic water specified on your reconstitution chart into the syringe.
- Insert the needle into the peptide vial at a slight angle. Slowly inject the water down the inside wall of the vial — do not spray directly onto the powder.
- Before removing the syringe, lift the needle tip above the liquid (but below the stopper) and release the plunger to equalize pressure.
- Gently swirl the vial until the powder is fully dissolved. Never shake.
2 Drawing Your Dose
- Using a fresh insulin syringe, draw in a small amount of air.
- Insert into the reconstituted vial and inject air to equalize pressure.
- Invert the vial and draw out your prescribed dose as indicated by your provider.
- Remove air bubbles by tapping the syringe and pushing them out gently.
3 Injection
- Choose your injection site. BPC-157 may be injected subcutaneously in the lower abdomen, upper thigh, or upper arm.
- Your provider may recommend injecting near an area of injury or inflammation for localized benefit.
- Clean the injection site with an alcohol wipe and let it dry.
- Pinch the skin and insert the needle at a 45° angle.
